Outreach & generosity
Our Mission
Salem Presbyterian Church at Pine Grove has always believed that faith without action is incomplete. Our congregation gives generously — of time, talent, and treasure — to serve our neighbors near and far.
A Generous People
From our earliest days as a congregation, the people of Salem have understood that the church exists not only for itself but for the world. That conviction shapes how we give, how we serve, and how we pray.
Our outreach touches three concentric circles — the Winchester-Clark County community around us, the broader national church, and partners in ministry around the globe. In each arena, Salem's members show up with open hands and willing hearts.
"Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."— 2 Corinthians 9:7
Where We Serve
Local Community
We support neighbors in Winchester and Clark County through food pantries, community meals, and partnerships with local organizations that address hunger, hardship, and isolation.
National Church
As a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), Salem participates in denominational giving that funds disaster relief, church planting, theological education, and advocacy for justice across the country.
International Outreach
Salem's generosity reaches beyond our borders through mission partnerships and support for global ministries that bring clean water, medical care, education, and the gospel to communities in need worldwide.
