Salem Presbyterian was established in 1784 — making it one of the oldest continuously worshipping congregations in Kentucky. What began as a log building off Basin Springs Road grew into a brick church, and in 1870 the congregation built the sanctuary that still stands today at 312 Combs Ferry Road.
On the first Sunday of every month, Communion is observed and a potluck fellowship follows the service — the kind with long tables, familiar faces, and more food than anyone can finish. It's one of the best ways to get to know us. Come hungry.
Our faith is Reformed and our welcome is genuine. We hold to the historic confessions of the Presbyterian tradition while keeping our doors wide open to anyone who wants to know more.
